Todoist is a task management app and online to-do list available over 13 platforms, including iOS, Windows, Chrome, and more. It's used by more than 1.7 million people. It compiles tasks and subtasks into simple lists and differentiates itself from its competitors by tracking progress over time, giving users insight into their personal productivity trends. Open Task Scheduler and go to this folder: Task Scheduler Library Microsoft Windows Defender. Click Import Task Browse and select the Windows Defender Scheduled Scan.xml file saved in your Desktop. Click OK when the Create Task dialog appears. This restores the Windows Defender Scheduled Scan Task to Task Scheduler.

One of my colleagues deleted a few tasks without realising there is no way to retrieve them if you don't click the 'undo' within the brief time it's visible on the screen.
Is there a way to introduce a bin for items deleted that can be restored? Alternatively (and perhaps better) can it be set up so that only admin can delete?

I can confirm that based on my quick test, in V2 the trash operates perfectly, including subtasks and checklist items :)

I just found out the hard way that subtasks don't go to the trash. It appears they're gone as soon as they're deleted.

So true. I am a former Asana user and having access to deleted items and being able to restore them after the brief window is a feature that was only recently added. I hope that it's not something that takes years to add. In the interim, I've been told that if something is deleted, depending on how long it's been, you can ask support if it can be retrieved.

It would be great to have a 'trash bin' or similar feature. When people delete tasks, they can actually be recovered by a team manager or team leader.

Jep I also had the case that a team member has deleted a task and missed clicking on undo. A trashbin where you could view and restore deleted tasks would be helpful for that case...

When you delete a project, it is permanently removed from your database, so you can’t retrieve it. That is why we recommend changing the status of projects that you are no longer using instead of deleting them. You can mark such projects as Completed, Deferred, Cancelled, or Archived.

You can also mark tasks as closed, rather than deleting them.

Viewing archived projects

Use the Archived status to disable older projects you no longer need ready access to. Archived projects do not display on the list of All projects or My Projects on the Projects > Projects page.

To view archived projects:

  1. Go to Projects > Projects.
  2. Choose the Archived status option.

  1. Go to Projects > Projects, and choose the project whose tasks you want to view.
  2. Click the Tasks tab.
  3. Select the Show Closed Tasks check box that displays in the top, right-hand corner of the task list.
